If your tournament spans several days (different start and end dates in the settings), the schedule gains a few extra options.
Each match card gets a date field next to the time, limited to the tournament period. This lets you spread matches across the days.
The dropdown Show one day appears in the bar above the schedule. Pick a day to see only those matches, or All days for the full schedule.
When you click ↻ Generate / recalculate, a multi-day tournament shows a row of tick boxes On which days?. Tick one day and everything lands on that day; tick several (or all) and the schedule may spread across them. A day you do not tick stays empty.
Two fields in the same dialog decide when a day is full and the rest rolls over to the next ticked day:
The field End per day (optional) also sits in the schedule settings above the schedule, and that value is remembered. If a match no longer fits before that time, the generator places it on the next tournament day, starting again from the start time; on the last day nothing is carried over.
If you leave the field empty and tick only one day, the generator plans everything on that day and you spread matches yourself using the date field.
Tip: combine this with break windows (see the article on breaks) to keep e.g. a lunch break free every day.
In three ways. Tick several match days in ↻ Generate / recalculate and let the generator spread them — with Max. matches per team per day at 1, every team plays one match a day. Or fill in an End per day, so whatever no longer fits rolls over to the next day. Or put a match on another day by hand with the date field on its card.
Together with the start time it is the window played each day. If a match no longer fits before that time, the generator places it on the next ticked day, starting from the opening time again. Leave the field empty and the day runs on until everything is scheduled. The field sits both in the schedule settings (remembered) and in the generate dialog (for that generation only).
Tick the match days in ↻ Generate / recalculate and set Max. matches per team per day to 1. Each following round then moves to the next ticked day; matches that are already scheduled count towards this. If there are too few days for all the matches, the surplus spreads over the days instead of piling up on the last one.
Yes. Above the schedule there is a Show one day dropdown. Pick a day to see only those matches, or All days for the full schedule. That choice is carried over by ↻ Generate / recalculate and by ⇥ Schedule all.
