UwTornooi.be is free tournament software from Belgium. We collect as little personal data as possible and use it solely to make the service work. Below you can read exactly what we store, why, and which rights you have.
UwTornooi.be is operated from Belgium and is responsible for processing the data you share through this website. Questions about this policy can be asked via the contact form.
• Account: your name, email address and an encrypted (hashed) password.
• Tournament data: teams, players, results and schedules entered by the organiser.
• Registrations: name, email address and team details you enter when registering a team.
• Contact form: your name, email address and message.
• Payments: payments are handled by Mollie. We never see or store your card or bank details — only the payment status, the amount and a reference.
We use your data solely to provide the service: managing your tournament, processing registrations, sending confirmation and service emails (such as score links for referees) and answering your questions. We never sell your data to third parties and don't send advertising without your consent.
• Hosting: our servers run at Combell (Belgium, EU).
• Payments: Mollie B.V. (Netherlands, EU) processes online payments.
We don't share your data with anyone else, unless legally required to do so.
We always place functional cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in, a cookie for your language preference and a cookie that remembers your cookie choice. These need no consent, because the site doesn't work without them.
We also use Google Analytics 4 to count how many people visit the site and which pages they use, so we can see what works and what doesn't. This measurement is off by default: Google Analytics only places cookies once you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are placed. We do not use advertising cookies and do not profile you for advertising.

A tournament's live page (standings, schedule, results) is visible to anyone with the link. Team and player names published by the organiser are therefore public. Organisers can enable privacy mode (GDPR) to hide player names. As a participant, if you want to be removed from a live page, please contact the tournament organiser first.
We keep your data for as long as your account or the tournament exists. If you delete your account, or ask us to delete it, we erase your personal data, except what we are legally required to keep (e.g. payment records for accounting).
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to processing and transfer your data. Contact us to do so — we reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).
All traffic uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Passwords are stored hashed and are unreadable, even to us.
The registration form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, to prevent bots from creating accounts in bulk. In doing so, Google Ireland Limited receives technical data — your IP address, your browser and device settings, and your mouse and keyboard behaviour on that page — to calculate a score indicating how likely it is that you are human. We only see that score, never the underlying data. No advertising cookies are placed for this purpose, and the data is not used to profile you for advertising.
