These terms apply to your use of UwTornooi.be. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to what follows. Please read them together with our privacy policy.
UwTornooi.be is free tournament software from Belgium that lets you create tournaments, manage teams and registrations, generate a schedule and share the standings, schedule and results live through a public link. The service is provided as is, free of charge.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping your password secret. You are responsible for everything that happens through your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect someone else has access to it.
You use the service only to organise and follow tournaments, and not for unlawful, offensive or misleading purposes. You do not enter data you have no permission to use, and you do not attempt to disrupt the operation, security or availability of the service. We may restrict or remove accounts that break these rules.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty. We do our best to keep the service running well, but we do not guarantee that it is always available, uninterrupted or error-free. Maintenance, outages, updates or force majeure may interrupt the service temporarily or permanently, without any right to compensation.
Because the service is provided free of charge, the developer/operator is, to the fullest extent permitted by law, not liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from the use or unavailability of the service. This expressly includes loss, corruption or inaccessibility of entered data (tournaments, teams, registrations, results), whatever the cause. You use the service at your own risk. Keep your own copy of data that matters to you; for critical or irreplaceable information, do not rely on the service alone.
How we handle your personal data is described in our privacy policy. You remain the owner of the data you enter. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time via the contact form.
The service itself stays free. We only charge a processing cost of € 0.50 per successful payment when your participants pay online through the Mollie account of UwTornooi. If you use your own Mollie account we charge nothing and the money flows directly between you and Mollie.
If you choose the Mollie account of UwTornooi, we temporarily receive the registration fees on your behalf. After the tournament we transfer the balance — the amount received minus the processing cost per payment and minus any refunds — to the account number you enter in your tournament. You are responsible for the accuracy of that account number; as long as it is missing or incorrect we cannot transfer. The processing cost is never refunded, not even when you refund a participant.
We are not a party to the agreement between you and your participants. The registration itself, cancellations, refunds, discounts and any VAT obligations remain your responsibility as organiser. Amounts that Mollie or a bank reclaims afterwards (for example on a chargeback or a dispute) may be set off against the transfer.
You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account. We may adapt, suspend or discontinue the service or your access to it — where possible, we will let you know.
We may update these terms when the service changes. The most recent version is always on this page. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes are submitted to the competent courts of Belgium.
