Entering scores

Results can be entered in two ways.

Via the management screen

1. Go to Resultaten (results) in your tournament.
2. Click the score of a match.
3. Enter the score (e.g. 3-1 or 2-0).
4. Click Save.

Above each match you see the time and, for knockout matches, the round label (Quarter-final, Semi-final…) and in the first round the origin of the teams (e.g. 1st Pool A – 2nd Pool D). If a knockout match ends in a draw, you can also enter penalties.

Via the referee's score link

1. Share the unique score link with the referee.
2. The referee opens the link on their phone and sees the time, field and round label for every match.
3. They enter the score and click Save.
4. The score appears immediately on the live page.

Followers are notified

As soon as a score is fully filled in, everyone following either team in the UwTornooi app receives a push notification with the result. This applies to every way of entering it: the management screen, the referee's score link and the app.

If you save the same score again — the management screen saves automatically as soon as you leave a field, and Alles opslaan (save all) resubmits every match — no second notification is sent. If you adjust the score afterwards, a new notification does go out with the corrected result.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to enter all results myself as the organiser?

No. Besides the management screen, every referee can enter their own matches through their score link, and it works in the app too. The score appears on the live page immediately, whichever route it comes in by.

What if a knockout match ends in a draw?

You can then also enter penalties for that match. Above each match you will find the time and, for knockout matches, the round label plus, in the first round, where the teams came from — for example 1st Group A – 2nd Group D.

Do followers get a notification for every result entered?

Yes. As soon as a score is complete, everyone following either team in the app gets a push notification. If you save the same score again — the management screen saves automatically and Save all resubmits everything — no second notification goes out. If you genuinely change the score afterwards, a new notification does follow with the corrected result.

Can I keep the scores on paper first?

Yes. Go to Presentation and click Match schedule under Downloads (PDF). In that PDF every match without a result gets two empty boxes in the Uitslag (result) column, so you can write the score by hand and enter it in the dashboard later. Matches that already have a result simply show it.
