Starting phases

You can lock matches against further changes by starting a phase.

Starting a phase

1. Go to Resultaten (results) or Voortgang (progress).
2. Click Start phase for the desired phase.
3. The scores of this phase can no longer be changed.
4. The system updates the standings and the knockout.

Why start a phase?

• Prevents unintended changes to finished matches.
• Required to generate the knockout after the group phase.
• Gives players and visitors clarity about closed matches.

Why would I start a phase?

For three reasons: it stops finished matches being changed by accident, it is required to generate the knockout after the group stage, and it makes clear to players and visitors which matches are final.

Can I still change a score after starting a phase?

No. The scores of that phase are then locked and the system works the standings and the knockout through. So only start a phase once all its results are entered correctly.

Where do I start a phase?

On the Results tab or under Progress. Click Start phase next to the phase you want to close off.
