TV presentation
Show your tournament on a big screen in the hall or cafeteria.
Starting
- Go to Presentatie and click Start presentation — or open the link
uwtornooi.be/tv.php?t=your-tournament-slug. - Open the link on a TV, laptop or tablet connected to a screen.
What does the presentation show?
- Left: the standings, automatically rotating through all pools.
- Categories for which you switched the standings off for the screen — Klassement (standings) tab, card Where do we show the standings? — do not take part in that rotation.
- Do not want to see a category here at all? Switch it off under Which categories are public? on the Presentatie (presentation) tab. Its matches, standings and bracket then appear nowhere on the screen — not under In progress, Up next or the recent results either. That is independent of the live page: you can hide a category on the screen and still show it online.
- Right: an In progress card per field with the ongoing matches and live scores, followed by Up next (the next scheduled match) and the recent results.
- If a public moment is running (e.g. the prize ceremony), it appears at the top of that right-hand column; otherwise it shows up as soon as it starts within the hour.
- Knockout matches show their round label (e.g. Semi-final).
- If you work with more than one category, the category appears with its coloured dot in the standings title, on the In progress and Up next cards, and under each recent result.
- If you show your own sponsors, two sponsor pages join the rotation: one with your main sponsors large on screen and one with the regular sponsors. They count in "Page 3 of 5" and in the announcement of the next page.
- If you have prepared your own slides (see below), they join the rotation between the standings and the sponsor pages.
The screen refreshes every 15 seconds. The 🌙/☀️ button switches between dark and light mode.
At the bottom the sponsor strip always stays visible, with the main sponsors separate and larger than the rest.
The TV presentation automatically uses the club colour and logo you set under Custom branding.
Adding your own slides
Next to the standings and the sponsor pages you can put your own pages into the rotation. You manage them under Own slides in the sidebar, right below Presentation.
- Pick the slide type: Announcement — large text, readable from a distance, for example "Prize ceremony at 5pm in the clubhouse" —, Image — your poster, the clubhouse menu or a photo — or QR code, which takes visitors to a link of your own: registration for next year, a raffle, your Facebook page.
- Give it a title and optionally a short text. A Dutch and French version is optional: if you leave a language empty, that visitor sees the Dutch text.
- Choose how long the slide stays up: 15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds.
- Should the slide only appear during part of the day, fill in Only show between. An announcement for 5pm only needs to be on screen from 3.30pm.
Drag the slides with ⋮⋮ into the order you want — that is also the order on the screen. The toggle switches a slide off temporarily without deleting it, and Preview shows one slide on the screen without waiting for its turn.
An image can be PNG, JPG, WEBP or AVIF, up to 6 MB. A landscape image (16:9 ratio) fills the screen best.
If there is no standing yet — before the first matches, say — your slides alternate with the matches of the moment, so the screen never stays stuck on a single poster.
Please note: your own slides are part of the same one-off option as your own sponsors (€ 5 for this tournament, see Managing sponsors). As long as that option is unpaid, the page stays locked and no slides run on the screen.
