📺 Managing sponsors

Sponsors

UwTornooi is free thanks to sponsors. You can add your own sponsors so they are visible on the live page, in the app and on the presentation screen.

Where to find it

Everything sits on one page: in the sidebar of your tournament, under Organisatie (organisation), click Manage sponsors. The two sponsor options are at the top of that page; below them you manage your own sponsors.

Sponsor options: show your sponsors, hide ours

At the top of Manage sponsors there are two switches:

• Show YOUR OWN sponsors on the live page, app, etc. — your sponsors appear with your tournament, and you can put your own slides on the presentation screen (see TV presentation).
• Show the sponsors of uwtornooi.be on our live page — turn it off and our sponsors disappear from your live page.

For each of these options we ask a small contribution of € 5, once per tournament. When you flip a switch, you land on the Sponsor options page: tick one or both options and pay everything at once via Mollie.

After payment the chosen options are activated immediately and you receive a payment confirmation by email. Once paid, you can freely toggle the switches for the rest of the tournament.

Adding a sponsor

As long as the own sponsors option is unpaid, the rest of the page is locked: you can see the form, but nothing can be saved. After payment:

1. Go to Manage sponsors in the sidebar.
2. Enter the name and pick a logo (PNG, JPG, GIF, WEBP or SVG, max. 3 MB).
3. Optionally add the website and an order (lowest number first).
4. Tick whether this is a main sponsor.
5. Click Add sponsor.

In the list you can edit or delete each sponsor afterwards. If you leave the logo field empty while editing, the existing logo is kept.

Main sponsor or regular sponsor

At the bottom of the form is the ★ Main sponsor checkbox. Tick it and that sponsor gets the best spot everywhere:

• On the live page the main sponsors form their own row at the top of the sponsor strip, with a larger logo. Below it follows the Sponsors row with the regular ones.
• On the presentation screen the main sponsors get a full page in the rotation, with their logo large on screen. The regular sponsors then get their own page.
• In the list on this page they appear at the top, labelled Main.

If you tick nothing, it is a regular sponsor. You can switch it any time via Edit. Without any main sponsor everything stays one Sponsors row, just like before.

Order and rotation

The Order field sets the priority: the lowest number comes first. Give several sponsors the same number and they are equally important, so they swap places among themselves on every refresh — the same sponsor is not always in front.

How many logos show per row at once is up to you, under Display on screen — configurable separately for main sponsors and for regular sponsors, eight by default: the smaller that number, the bigger each logo, since UwTornooi resizes them automatically. If you have more than that number, the next ones get their turn on each refresh, so after a while everyone has been on screen. The live page refreshes every 45 seconds, the presentation screen every 15 seconds.

The uwtornooi.be sponsors do not count towards that number: they are always shown, unless you hide them with the sponsor option above.

Where do they appear?

Your own sponsors appear on the live page of your tournament, in the app and on the presentation screen (TV mode), as long as the own sponsors switch is on. The uwtornooi.be sponsors appear there too, unless you hide them with the second option.
