Online registration page

Let teams or players register online via a public page.

Activating

There is no separate on/off button: the registration period decides. As long as those dates are empty, the form is not public.

1. Go to Inschrijvingen (registrations) in your tournament.
2. Under Formulierinstellingen (form settings), fill in the dates Formulier beschikbaar van (form available from) and tot (until). The same dates are on the Algemeen tab under Inschrijfperiode (registration period).
3. Click Opslaan (save).
4. Within that period the form is public via uwtornooi.be/inschrijven.php?t=your-tournament-slug

One of the two dates is enough. If you leave tot empty, the form stays open until the tournament is over.

At the top of the Registrations tab you see the state of the form: Not open yet, Open or Registrations are closed. If it is not Open, the Open and Registration link buttons report that you have to adjust the dates first.

Customising the registration form

1. Go to Inschrijvingen (registrations).
2. Click Formuliervelden (form fields) to add extra questions (e.g. t-shirt size, dietary wishes, phone number).
3. You can make fields required or optional.

Managing registrations

New registrations appear in the Inschrijvingen tab.

• You can approve or reject them.
• Upon approval, a team is created automatically and the registrant receives a confirmation email.
• If you delete that participant later in the Deelnemers (participants) tab, their registration stays here and returns to new: you can approve it again. In that same window you choose whether the contact person receives an email telling them the team has been unregistered.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I switch the registration page on?

In Registrations, under Form settings: fill in the dates Formulier beschikbaar van and tot and click Opslaan. Within that period the form is public, in the form uwtornooi.be/inschrijven.php?t=your-tournament-slug. Without dates it stays closed.

Can I add my own questions to the form?

Yes. Go to Registrations and click Form fields. There you add your own questions — shirt size, dietary requirements or a phone number, for example — and decide per field whether it is required or optional.

What happens when I approve a registration?

A team is created in your tournament automatically, and the person who registered gets a confirmation email. New registrations appear on the Registrations tab, where you approve or reject them.

Can I link a registration to a team I already added myself?

Yes. On that registration, click Replace team and pick the team from the same category it should replace — for example a placeholder you already put in the draw. The registration's name, contact details and players are then applied to that team, while it keeps its place in the draw or schedule. Note: this cannot be undone.

Why is my registration form closed?

Almost always because the registration period is not (or no longer) right: no dates under Form settings, the start date is still in the future, or the end date has passed. The tournament itself stays visible on the live page and in the app — only the form closes.

Inviting teams

With your form open you do not have to wait for teams to find it: on the Uitnodigen (invite) page you mail them yourself, with your registration link automatically in the message. See Inviting teams by e-mail.
