Confirmation email
After every registration, UwTornooi automatically sends a confirmation email to the contact person. You can customise its text.
Customising
- Open your tournament dashboard and look for the Bevestigingsmail card.
- Fill in what you want to change:
- Onderwerp: the subject of the email.
- Introductie: the text at the top of the email.
- Afsluiting: the text at the bottom of the email.
- Click E-mailinstellingen opslaan.
If you leave a field empty, the default text is used. It is automatically in Dutch or French, matching the language of the person registering.
Good to know
- The email always automatically contains the registration details (team, amount…) and a button to the live page. You do not need to add those yourself.
- Your own texts are used literally. Codes such as [naam] or [ploeg] only work in the default text, not in your own text.
- Tick Stuur kopie naar mijzelf to receive a copy of every confirmation, recognisable by [Kopie] in the subject.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to put the registration details in the email myself?
No. The email always automatically contains the registration details — team, amount and so on — plus a button to the live page. Your text is simply added on top.
Do codes like [naam] or [ploeg] work in my own text?
No. Custom texts are used literally; those codes only work in the default text. If you leave a field empty, the system falls back to that default text.
In which language is the confirmation email sent?
The default text is automatically in Dutch or French, matching the language of the person registering. If you write your own text, it goes out exactly as you wrote it.
Can I get a copy of every confirmation myself?
Yes. Tick Send a copy to myself and you receive a copy of every confirmation. You will recognise it by [Copy] in the subject line.
