Switch on Advanced settings on the Puntentelling (scoring) tab and the field For a goalless draw (0-0) appears. It lets a goalless draw be worth less than a draw with goals — for example 3 points for a win, 2 for a draw with goals and 1 for a 0-0.
Keep the field equal to For a draw if you do not want to make a distinction. That is also the default, so nothing changes in existing tournaments until you touch it. The rule only applies to pool matches that really end 0-0; if such a match is decided on penalties after all, the points for a win and a loss after penalties apply instead.
Sports played in sets (volleyball, tennis, padel, badminton) start in sets mode: you enter the set scores and UwTornooi works out the sets won. For volleyball the official count is ready to go — 3 sets to win, where a 3-0 and a 3-1 are worth three points and a 3-2 gives two points to the winner and one to the loser. Every value stays editable under Points per result.
Tick Deciding set when the last set is a short set (volleyball to 15, a super tie-break in tennis and padel). It is then marked while you enter the result and its points stay out of the point difference — unless you tick just below that they should count after all.
Besides the difference (scored minus conceded) you can also rank on ratio. The set ratio divides sets won by sets lost, the point ratio does the same with the points within the sets. When teams do not all play the same number of matches — pools of different sizes, a cancelled match — dividing gives the fairest ranking. Volleyball and beach volleyball use both criteria by default. For such a pool the live standings show an extra SP column: the difference of the points within the sets.
That depends on the profile you pick. For football it is 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. For volleyball a 3-0 or 3-1 is worth three points, a 3-2 two points, and a defeat 0 or 1 point. For padel the set score is used, as in tennis.
By default the head-to-head result is checked first, then goal difference (or set difference), then the head-to-head result between the remaining teams. You can change that order yourself in the scoring settings.
Yes. Choose the Custom profile and set the distribution yourself. That is the route for sports or rules that do not match any of the standard profiles.
Yes. Switch on Advanced settings and enter your own value in For a goalless draw (0-0). That way a draw with goals is worth 2 points and a 0-0 is worth 1.
No. A knockout stage needs a winner, otherwise the next round stays empty. If you do enter an equal number of sets won, UwTornooi says so and the result is only stored once the deciding set has been filled in. In a pool an equal number of sets is fine.
The difference subtracts (6 sets won and 4 lost gives +2), the ratio divides (6 divided by 4 gives 1.50). As long as everyone plays the same amount, both usually produce the same order. Once one team plays more matches than another, the difference favours whoever played most, while the ratio stays fair. That is why volleyball counts in ratios.
That depends on your scoring profile. If Pool matches may not end in a draw is on — the default for sports without draws such as basketball, volleyball, tennis and padel — such a result is refused when saving. You then enter the decider (penalties, a shoot-out or the score after extra time), or you correct the final score. In basketball and handball, where extra time simply continues the game, it is better to enter that final score in the score itself.
Do you want to allow draws in the pools after all? Switch that rule off in the scoring settings. In a knockout stage a winner stays mandatory: without one, the next round stays empty.
Because basketball scoring gives 2 points for a win, 1 for a loss and 0 for a draw. A stored draw is therefore worth less than losing — and the standings only show that the team played without a win or a loss. That is why we ask for the decider first.
