On the Deelnemers (participants) page you manage all teams, referees and managers of your tournament.
You can also add several teams at once:
Per team you can add individual players for statistics.
Afterwards, don't forget to create the player statistics (e.g. goals, assists, yellow cards) on the Algemeen > Puntentelling page, so they can be filled in during matches.
Click the cross to the right of a team. A window appears telling you what disappears: the team itself, its players, its place in the layout and its results.
If the team has a contact email, you can tick in that same window that the contact person receives an email telling them the team has been unregistered. That box is off by default, so no email ever goes out unless you switch it on yourself. The email goes to the address shown in the row, in the language of the registration (or otherwise in yours).
If the team came from an online registration, that registration is kept in the Inschrijvingen (registrations) tab and returns to new. You can approve it again there later: the player list and the logo come back with it.
At the bottom of this tab is the E-mail all participants card. It lets you send one message at once to the contact address of every registered team — handy for a practical notice such as a moved match or a changed pitch.
Fill in a subject and a message (plain text, no variables) and click Send. Two teams sharing the same contact address only receive the message once. Test first with the Test mail button: that only sends the message to the address you fill in yourself.
As everywhere on UwTornooi, the mail is sent from no-reply@uwtornooi.be — that verified address passes the spam filters, yours does not. Replies therefore do not reach you; put your own contact details in the message if you expect a reply. As a precaution, the same address is also never mailed twice within 24 hours.
Copy your team names from Excel or a text file, one name per line. Then click the input field under Participants and paste with Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on Mac). All teams are created in one go — no need to type them one by one.
Only if you want to keep player statistics. Team names are enough for the schedule, the standings and the results. If you do want statistics, click the team name and add the players: Enter adds a player, Shift+Enter starts a new line without adding one.
Because the statistics still have to be created. Go to General > Scoring and create the statistics you want there (for example goals, assists or yellow cards). Only then can you fill them in per player during a match.
